Artist's Description
The site of the Henderson Bros. sign at farmer's markets on the eastern shore of Maryland, Delaware and Virginia, always means a bounty of ripe and juicy vegetables. I love the feeling that this fine art photograph evokes that the beautiful red tomatoes are about to roll off the table, right into your hand!
Farmers' markets do more than offer fresh produce. They create a sense of nostalgia for a bygone era when one shopped every few days for fresh and ripe food.
About Kim Bemis
I am delighted to announce that I will participate in the National Folk Festival on September 6, 7 and 8 in Salisbury, Maryland.
