Artist's Description
The St. Simons Lighthouse is under the custodianship of the Coastal Georgia Historical Society. It still active, lighting the entrance of St. Simons Sound. First commissioned in 1810, the lighthouse is 75 feet tall, not including the lantern.
This photograph has appeared in "The St Simons Island Daily".
