The Cape May Lighthouse beacon shines forth, guiding ships from the Atlantic Ocean into the mouth of the Delaware River. Located at the southern tip of New Jersey, the current lighthouse stands 157 feet tall, and was built in 1859. The lighthouse still functions to help guide ships through the shoals at the mouth of the Delaware. Although the lighthouse is owned by the state of New Jersey, the U.S. Coast Guard controls the operations.

I am delighted to announce that I will participate in the National Folk Festival on September 6, 7 and 8 in Salisbury, Maryland. This is a huge national festival that includes arts and crafts, and a huge cross-section of American music. Here is my 2019 schedule.
