Description
Popularized in movie scenes, couples like to place a romantic "love lock" on bridges crossing the Seine River in Paris, France. The sheer weight of so many locks threatens to pull down the fences and railings on many of the bridges. The French government has taken measures to stop the practice in order to safeguard the bridges. Judging from the locks covering this bridge, it seems that love is winning out; the efforts are not succeeding. In the background, the grand Notre Dame Cathedral graces the side of the river with its divine and enchanting beauty.
