Description
The bright orange color of the robe that this young man is wearing indicates that he is a sannyasi, one of the wandering monks of India.
Traditionally, sanyasis spend only three days in one location. How do they live? They live by begging for alms, and in return, their life-long focus on spirituality provides a blessing for everyone around them.
This photograph was taken in Rishikesh, India, one of the great learning centers for Yoga.
