Description
Presenting a beautiful pastoral scene, these gorgeous wild horses are part of the wild pony herd found on Assateague National Seashore. It is believed that these ponies are the descendents of horses that swam ashore from a Spanish shipwreck in the Atlantic Ocean that took place offshore from Assateague Island.
