This gorgeous wild pony, with its dark chocolate color is one of my favorite. This horse is one of the herd maintained on Assateauge Island National Seashore. The wild ponies are believed to be descendents of horses that escaped a Spanish galleon when it sunk off the Maryland coast during a storm.

I am delighted to announce that I will participate in the National Folk Festival on September 6, 7 and 8 in Salisbury, Maryland. This is a huge national festival that includes arts and crafts, and a huge cross-section of American music. Here is my 2019 schedule.
